History at Chil Chil Christian College is about questioning and explaining how the past has been constructed, understood, and made into what we call "history." Our courses challenge students to actively participate in interpreting and making history, rather than merely reading and reflecting about the past.
History as a discipline offers numerous opportunities to study the diversity of human experience across time and place, from the ancient world to the present and in every major region of the world.
For History graduates, the option of public service is always open. With an extensive knowledge of History and Historical Monuments, a history graduate can work as a travel expert for tourist places of historical importance, or be employed in the Archaeology & Archives, Historical Parks, Journalism, Museums, Public Relations, Radio, and Research.
